HereΓÇÖs something fun to do: fix up the card script of the first card so that it goes to home when you click on it (that will override the background script that takes you to a random card). Then, everytime you want to start up HyperCard, open the Fortune Cookie stack and you will start out by seeing a fortune. Then you can click on the screen to go home and start working.

Each fortune has a category, which you can display if you wish. The display of the category as well as the importing and exporting of fortunes is controlled by the control card, which can be invoked from any card in the stack by pressing the button that looks like a key; it is circled at the bottom of this page.
